With more than 28 years of marketing and business development experience, I specialize in creating winning capture campaigns for large alternative delivery projects.
From identifying an opportunity and establishing a productive relationship with a new owner to preparing for that all important project interview, in today's market, winning work requires an active, organized approach that executes a set of specific strategies and tactics.
I started HKLBRY Creative to assist organizations in developing unique "Capture Campaigns" based on a project's specific scope and goals, its owner's particular needs and expectations and the distinctive personality of the pursuit team.
I began my career almost 30 years ago as a Marketing Coordinator for a national environmental consulting firm. Over the next 20 years I served as a Marketing Manager, Operations Manager, Regional Transportation Director and Vice President for various design engineering firms in the Pacific Northwest. During this time, I built and managed delivery teams and processes that resulted in winning more than 75 major projects worth an estimated $600 million in combined project value.
These last few years were spent honing my skills as a Business Development and Large Projects Pursuit Manager for a nationally recognized heavy civil construction company. Here, I focused on pursuing more than 50 large Alternative Delivery (Design-Build, CMGC, Progressive Design Build and Public Private Partnership) transportation and water infrastructure projects with a combined value of more than $8 billion.
